This Statement of Personal Data Protection refers to the personal data processing by Actum – employment mediation craft, registered in the Book of Records of Temporary Work Agencies kept by the Ministry of Labour and Pension System under the number 231/19.
The processing covers activities such as collection, recording, storage, inspection, detection, transmission or destruction.

For the purposes of this Statement, the term “candidate” shall be used referring to both male and female persons as gender-equal, equal and equivalent persons and this shall not be deemed gender discrimination. A candidate is an individual to whom personal data relate and whose identity can be or has been established.

Personal data are all the information referring to an individual whose identity can be or has been established. Therefore, there is a wide range of what personal data are, but to put it more simply, these are: name and surname, identification number, photo, voice, address, phone number, IP address, date of birth…

Means and purpose of personal data processing
If you provide us with an open job application or an application based on the advertised job vacancy via the website www.actum.hr or by alternative channels (e.g. Portals specializing in vacancies advertising), you acknowledge that all personal data that you have submitted to us in your job application/request, to prove the fulfilment of your work and professional qualifications, shall be processed in compliance with the applicable personal data protection regulations in order to carry out the candidates selection or take the necessary actions at your request prior to the contract conclusion. We collect personal data directly from you when you apply for a vacant or wanted position. We collect and process the same data based on our legitimate interest in human resource management to identify and evaluate an ideal candidate, secure our business in accordance with legal requirements, and to set up and defend our legal requests. We have justified interest in storing your personal data even upon the end of the selection process in order to take you into account, within our employment program, when recruiting for potential future job positions. You have the right to object to this type of personal data processing pursuant to: right to access personal data, right to, right to rectify personal data, right to erase personal data ….

Please do not include any special categories of personal data, such as personal data on racial or ethnic origin, political, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership in trade unions, data relating to health, sex life or sexual orientation, in the documentation that you send us or upload in the portal specialized in vacancies advertising. We do not request nor shall collect these data, unless we are required by an applicable regulation.

A candidate has given consent on his or her personal data processing for the purpose of providing information on employment, data collection for selection or possible employment.

Personal data protection
Actum respects your privacy and security of your personal data. Collection, use and processing of your personal data is carried out in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act. We guarantee to our service users that we shall treat all personal data as confidential information and trade secrets. We collect personal data primarily in order to carry out the candidate selection for the purpose of possible employment.

Time period of personal data storage
If you accept our employment offer, all relevant personal data collected during the selection period shall become a part of the employee records and shall be kept permanently in accordance with the special regulations. If we do not hire you or you do not accept our offer, your personal data shall be stored until you request erasure of your data, unless there is another legal basis to process these data.

Candidate’s rights
1. Right of access to personal data: You are entitled to request from us information on your personal data that are processed by us, provided that your identity has been clearly established.
2. Right to rectification of personal data: If your personal data are incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request rectification or completion of your personal data by making a written statement, by phone or verbally, provided that your identity has been clearly established. You are responsible to provide the correct personal data.
3. Right to erasure of personal data: You are entitled to request erasure of your personal data, provided that your identity has been clearly established.
